One of the major challenges of the conventional data centre and telecom core site is making sure that the facility installed will fulfil its requirements a decade or more down the line. Predicting these requirements so far in the future is a difficult feat to undertake and is never an exact science. Rather than attempting to guess your future needs, a prefabricated, integrated modular solution, provides a structure that meets real and present requirements in the short and medium-term, while offering the capacity for future scalability and adaption. The process to manufacture and test the entire facility offsite in modules before shipping and then assembling those modules onsite ensure a best-in-class, tightly put together facility deployed faster and at lower cost. The Vertiv™ SmartMod™ provides for IT deployments between 2 and 14 racks with 100 kW or less, SmartMod offers a simple way to install capacity in a fraction of the time.
